The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Southwest Zone D, has congratulated Comrade Salahudeen Abeebullahi Adisa, popularly known as D’AH Legacy, following his appointment as Director of Career Development and Employability at the national level of the association.
In a statement issued on June 27, the Southwest leadership described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of the student leader’s years of commitment, dedication, and contributions to the advancement of the Nigerian student movement.
According to the statement, the appointment was made under the leadership of the National President of NANS, Comrade Akinteye Babatunde Afeez (BABTEE), as part of efforts to strengthen the association’s commitment to student development and empowerment.
NANS Southwest expressed confidence that the newly appointed director would leverage the office to champion initiatives that promote career development, employability, entrepreneurship, skills acquisition, and broader opportunities for Nigerian students.
The zonal leadership noted that the appointment reflects the confidence reposed in D’AH Legacy’s leadership experience, competence, and capacity to make meaningful contributions to national student development, while also showcasing the growing impact of student leaders from the Southwest region.
The association encouraged the newly appointed director to remain committed to excellence, integrity, innovation, and selfless service, urging him to implement programmes that will positively influence students across tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
NANS Southwest further reaffirmed its support for the new director and expressed optimism that his tenure would contribute significantly to advancing the association’s objectives in career development, employability, and student empowerment.
The association concluded by wishing Comrade Salahudeen Abeebullahi Adisa (D’AH Legacy) a successful and impactful tenure, expressing confidence that his leadership would leave a lasting legacy in the lives of Nigerian students.
