OSOGBO – The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Southwest Zone D, has issued a glowing tribute to the Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke, on the occasion of his 66th birthday.

In a press release issued on May 13th, 2026, and obtained by Student Gazette, the student body described the Governor as a “shining symbol of hope” whose leadership continues to redefine governance through compassion, simplicity, and a people-centered approach.

The statement, signed by the Coordinator of NANS Southwest (Zone D), Comrade Adeyemo Josiah Kayode, popularly known as BILLIONCODES, specifically lauded the Governor’s impact on the educational sector and his dedication to the welfare of students.

“Your Excellency, your administration has become a shining symbol of hope, progress, and purposeful governance, especially in the education sector where your commitment towards students’ welfare, infrastructural development, and academic advancement has restored confidence in leadership,” the statement read.

A Leader for the Youth

Comrade Adeyemo, who notably hails from Osun State, emphasized that the current leadership of NANS in the Southwest is a reflection of the enabling environment created by the Adeleke administration. He noted that the Governor has fostered an atmosphere where young people can dream, grow, and believe in the future of Nigeria once again.

The association further highlighted Governor Adeleke’s youth inclusiveness and his unique ability to connect with the masses, describing him as a “beloved symbol of joy and accessibility.”
